WORKING BEES:  2024

Currimundi Lake southern side

 –  second Wednesday of each month  8.00am – 11.00am.

Our volunteers meet at different locations along the Lake front each time.  To find out where we are meeting for our next working bee, look for information on our signs and noticeboards along the Lake front, or call Rhondda Alexander on 54376481.

Wear covered shoes, hat and bring water bottle.  Gloves, tools and morning tea provided.

Meet at Conservation Park entrance at the eastern end of Crummunda Park, Coongarra Esplanade, Wurtulla.

Wear covered shoes, hat and bring gloves and water bottle.  Tools and morning tea provided.

MEETINGS:  2024

Meetings are generally held at the Currimundi Bowls and Recreation Hall, cnr Ilya Street and Currimundi Road at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of every second month.

    • December 3rd.

NATIONAL TREE  DAY 2024

Wear covered shoes, hat, sunscreen and bring water bottle.  Gloves, tools and native plants provided.  A free sausage sizzle provided by Caloundra Lions Club will be available after the planting, along with activities for the kids.

CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY 2024

Clean Up Australia Day 2024

Sunday 3rd March    8.30am – 11am  – Cliff Hargreaves Park

This is a fantastic opportunity to help clean up our beautiful part of Australia and get involved in the local community.

Please register on line at   www.cleanupaustralia.org.au and select “join a Clean Up site”, type in postcode 4551 and join “Cliff Hargreaves Park location.

Otherwise you can register when you arrive at the Park on Sunday.

Please wear a hat, covered shoes and suitable clothing for the weather on the day, bring your water bottle and don’t forget the sunscreen.  Gloves will be provided.

We would then like to enjoy your company for a BBQ at 11am to relax after your efforts during the morning. The provisioning will be kindly   provided by our friends at COCOs.
